First post of 2015! Woot wooot! And I won't lie, i've been lazy. Florida will do that!&Yesterday was so beautiful here in New Smyrna. We had a really nice hike, then snapped a few pics once we made it to the coast. I'm considering just staying here 'till winter is over in the northeast. Completely kidding. But spending some time here has me wishing we were moving with a warm beach nearby.
So, the plan was Elijah and I were suppose to be in CT already, but a couple of things came up with the house, insulation probz. The 3 of us came up for New's Years to see D's family, and my (reaaally soon to be) in-laws completely didn't mind if Elijah &I wanted to stay a bit longer. (Only thing is we brought nothing but long sleeve shirts, jeans&sweaters.Packing a pair of flip flops didn't
even cross my mind. I know, I know...we didn't think to check the friggin' forecast). Getting back on point...its been really nice being able to hang and catch up. New Year's we didn't do too much, besides stuff our faces and watch movies all day. (That new Denzel movie
The Equalizer, was darn good,fyi). Other than that, Dylan and I picked out some colors for our kitchen, bathroom and living room. We're so excited,we can't wait to start adding our touch to the house! He left only a couple days ago and I'm already really missing my babe! Lol. But he's happy we're enjoying this lovely weather, unlike the low 20's he's experiencing;/
