Monday's be like....

Soo where has this month gone?!! I'm ready for February though, since it's always a fun month. Well, not exactly looking forward to turning 28. But rather, looking forward to visiting home/Atl really soon, plus celebrating my sisters 20th bday! But January, you've been fun as well :)Btw, while I sit and write all of this out, my arms and every thing else are in pain! (Maybe that's my excuse as to why I'm eating chocolate right now??)  Anyways! I went to a barre class with a friend yesterday afternoon annnd its was tough! It's been about a good year since I've even gone to one of these classes, and of course yesterday it seriously kicked my butt, haha.

10 things I've learned about Marriage

I don't know why I really don't talk about this topic. And I might of mentioned this before on here a while ago too...but maybe because I feel I'm still considered young and can't really relate any advice to other married people like myself? Or the fact that my blog isn't private and that I don't like to talk much about my really personaaal stuff on a public site...?  Yeah, think that has a lot to do with it. But this is a space where I'm suppose to talk freely, not worry about judgment and just be me. Soo I'm working on that for 2017, opening up more and just being real.  If someone were to ask right now, the top things I've learned in the last couple of years (well, almost 2 years) of being married...I wouldn't really know where to begin, hahaa. Honestly. It's not something I ponder about on the daily, that's all :)

It's (tooO) cold outside.

But Halloween still went on...

   I've been meaning to blog days ago, but I've been sooo lazy. Currently snugged up in my favorite sweater and blanket, motivation is still no where to be found. Dylan went into work early this morning and surprisingly, I woke up late today.Yes, even with the time going back an hour! So I got up, made Elijah some breakfast, took Jack out and hopped back into bed. One of those mornings, my bed was just so cozy, (it kept calling my name) I couldn't get out of it. And yeah I woke up feeling annoyed,knowing my butt shouldn't be in bed on a Sunday morning. Some good sleep was needed though. Overall its been a pretty fun week/end. Lots of pumpkin carvings, pumpkin pies and some good family time. But just know... I've come to conclusion Georgia weather is officially bipolar.

   The highlight of our night were taking the kids (&Jack) out trick or treating. *wish my flash was a little better>>>Kayla was a 'winter princess' and of course Ej was one of the turtles. They looked too cute. Elijah didn't even want us going up to the doors with him and Kayla. So independent at times, jeeez. Funny thing is, my kid gets so excited about doing things that when it's time to do it, he's not in the mood for it, AT ALL. People would ask him which ninja he was, and he would run the other way from 'em. Praying this is only some shy phase. (lol, fingers crossed). D joined in the fun also and got himself one of those black ninja outfits, big kid at heart :)  Later we decided to stop by a couple of costume parties...that part of the night was a fail. #1.It was already late and the people we were suppose to hang with, decided to head home. #2.The temperature dropped.Even snow flurries showed up for the rest of the night. And #3.We were starving. So we ended the night with steak and shaaake burgers baby! We would of been better off just staying home, watching some Halloween classics and eating pumpkin pie all night. Lesson learned here people :)

EJ is FOUR today!!!

     My baby is growing up sooo fast, how 4 years just flies! I feel like we were at home yesterday   taking photos when he was only a few months old. He's so independent now and really is a little grown man at times.

     He wasn't too thrilled to have pictures taken of him. Every time I'd say 'look here' he would run the other way. For months he's been so excited telling me 'Mommy, i'll be 4 on October 13th and so I want a ninja turtle party please'. He just isn't crazy about everyone showing him birthday attention and snapping pics. I think he did an awesome job choosing his theme and cake though :)

      Is it obvious my son had a small finger sampling before we sang happy birthday?

It was a good day, and just happy Ej& the kids enjoyed it...Happy Birthday pumpkin! :)

       This past weekend we just hung out at parks, sipped on some coffee + had some Sunday football.

I'm thankful for...

 This week has seriously felt a bit close to cabin fever. We haven't done much, considering the weather hasn't been that great. It took over a week for my laptop to finally arrive, but no complaints here. I'm now officially working remotely again and have a flexible work schedule.

&Yeah its been a bit of a boring week in terms of not doing much.But going thru my camera roll always reminds me how much there is to be thankful for.

 We've been hooked for the past week on Netflix. Surprisingly, we're distracted so much by this show we're not even all that into Scandal right now. (Nothing much happened besides them talking about 'booty calls' and the same ol same ol. Come on Shonda Rhimes!)

We went exploring.

           

.We had such a fun time at this beautiful place called Goat farm. Shoutout to @farrahbreanna, that's how I found out about this amazing place. Check out her inspiring+ beautiful work on IG! When I discovered it wasn't even twenty minutes from my house, I had to go. It was only a few exits away. Once we got there,it didn't even feel like we were in Atlanta. Some scenes of Hunger Games were actually filmed here &we even got a sneak peek today of a new movie they were in the middle of filming. We got to see cute farm animals + an endless amount of adorable baby chickens surrounding us everrrywhere. From the chic outdoors coffee shop, to the goats trying to chase us down for food...today was a good day.
